Compare official public-transport information with reputable booking services. Carry a backup payment method and confirm baggage, fees, cancellation rules and final prices before purchase.
Places to stay and food
Choose accommodation by neighborhood, late-arrival access and realistic travel time. For food, check local hygiene guidance, allergy communication and whether booking or cash is commonly required.
Health, safety and connectivity
Review official travel and health advice, insurance coverage and local emergency information. Download key addresses, tickets, translations and maps for offline use, and keep a fallback communication method.
